R Kelly Trapped In Closet 22 33
Were you a fan of R. Kelly’s Trapped In the Closet saga, but wished it could be, say, 40 parts longer? Then today is your lucky today!
After the series originally appeared in 2005, the most recent addition came in 2012, currently leaving it at 33 parts. That would seem more than sufficient, but apparently, Kelly is just getting warmed up. In an interview with Complex, he revealed some new chapters of the story that he is preparing to shoot:
According to Kelly, forty more chapters have already been written and recorded. They just need to be shot. He spoke a little bit about how chapter 34 will take place on the “out the closet” TV show he teased in chapter 33 and says that everyone from the entire series will make appearances on the Jerry Springer-like fictional show.
Yes, apparently we’re going to get even more drama from the master of it. Obviously, this raises one essential question: will Weird Al give us some new chapters of “Trapped In The Drive Thru” to go with these new releases? Surely, that story needs to be finished as well!
In the meantime, Kelly’s new album The Buffet comes out next month. You can watch the entire Complex interview in the video below.
